Infinite Blackjack Evolution GamingInfinite Blackjack is one of the more popular live blackjack games from Evolution Gaming. Its key selling point is that it can accommodate an unlimited number of players, in comparison to the traditional seven seats. Hence the name. What this practically means for online gamblers is that they will never need to wait for a table.

The game is designed to accommodate and to appeal to a large audience. The card game itself therefore maintains pretty standard rules so there are no unpleasant surprises.

Based on the American Blackjack variant, Infinite Blackjack is also known among gamblers for good odds and a very high RTP of 99.47%. The game also has four additional side bets for the extra entertainment factor and a potential payout of up to 250x your stake.

How to Play Infinite Blackjack – Basics

Infinite Blackjack is a live blackjack game. The game can accommodate an infinite number of players, but you will only see your own seat at the table. As with other blackjack games, your goal is to beat the dealer in building a hand as close to 21 as possible, without going over.

The game begins with the dealer dealing the first two cards for you. These two cards are actually for all the players at the table, and are referred to as the common cards. These cards are then represented by a digital card on your screen as the physical cards are removed. The dealer also gets two cards, one face up, the other face down.

You then decide to hit, stand, double down or split. If you decide to hit, another card is dealt, and everything proceeds like a regular blackjack game.

If you decide to stand, and if any other player decides to hit, then your stand will be registered while another card is dealt. Whatever happens next does not apply to you. If the next card goes bust, it doesn't apply to you at all – you're just watch the rest of the game proceed.

That's the basics of the game. The game goes by American Blackjack rules, which means the dealer stands on a soft 17.

Forward iconInfinite Blackjack uses the 6 Card Charlie rule, which means that if you have six cards without going bust, it's an automatic win for you.

There are also four side bets available in Infinite Blackjack, these being: 21+3, Any Pair, Hot 3 and Bust It.

Key features

  • Unlimited number of participants
  • 8 decks of cards
  • Dealer gets up and hole card
  • Dealer stands on soft 17
  • No doubling down after split
  • Splits allowed on equal value cards
  • Insurance available if dealer has Ace
  • 6 Card Charlie
  • 4 side bets available

Evolution also has a game called Infinite Free Bet Blackjack. You can double down for free if your first two cards add up to 9, 10 or 11. Splits are also free.

Play Infinite Blackjack for free

Being a live dealer game, Infinite Blackjack is not available for free play. That's always the case with live casino games. However, we have embedded an Infinite Blackjack video here so you can see how the game looks and plays.

While you can't play Infinite Blackjack for free, a decent alternative could be to check out RNG American Blackjack games instead, since Infinite Blackjack is based on the American variant. Software based RNG blackjack games are readily available for free play at online casinos in demo mode. We also put a demo game in our American Blackjack review that you can play for free.

Otherwise, you could also start with making small real money bets. While betting ranges are set by casinos individually, we've seen min bet for Infinite Blackjack at $0.50 or $1. That's still pretty easy for budget players.

Infinite Blackjack Side Bets

While Infinite Blackjack is visually minimal, there are plenty of extras mechanics wise. Namely, four side bets to add to the excitement and payout, which we explain below. And as usual, while side bets can offer lucrative payouts, they do lower the RTP of the game if you decide to play them.

Any Pairs

If the first two cards you get are a pair, you win. A numbered pair like two 10 cards pays 8:1, while a suited pair, such as two 4 of Spades, will pay 25:1. RTP drops to 95.90% with Any Pairs.

21+ 3

If the dealer's up card and your two cards can combine into any kind of Poker hand, then you win.

  • Suited Trips (cards are identical in number and suit) 100:1 payout.
  • Straight Flush (cards in identical suit and consecutive order, eg. 7, 8, and 9 of Clubs) 40:1 payout
  • Three of a Kind (cards in varying suit but same value, eg. 8 of Spades, Hearts and Diamonds.) 30:1 payout
  • Straight (consecutive cards with different suits, eg. 2 of Hearts, 3 of Spades, 4 of Clubs) 10:1 payout
  • Flush (cards in identical suit, eg. 7, 9, 10 of Hearts) 5:1 payout

RTP when playing 21+3 is 96.30%.

Hot 3

If you get 19, 20, or 21 when the dealer's up card is added to your hand, then you win. For example, your two cards are 7 and 10, and the dealer's up card is 4. If it's three 7 cards, then you see a 100:1 payout.

RTP with Hot 3 is 94.60%.

Bust It

You bet on the dealer going bust. The more cards they go bust with, the higher your payout.

  • 8 cards or more: 250:1
  • 7 cards: 100:1
  • 6 cards: 50:1
  • 5 cards: 9:1
  • 4 cards: 2:1
  • 3 cards: 1:1

RTP when playing with Bust It is 94.12%.

Infinite Blackjack Strategy

When gamblers talk about blackjack strategy, they're usually referring to basic strategy, rather than betting systems like Martingale, or other approaches to the game. Basic strategy takes a rational approach to blackjack, making decisions based on the likelihood of what card might be dealt next based on what is already on the table. And with American Blackjack as its core, Infinite Blackjack works really well with basic strategy.

We have adapted the basic strategy chart for Infinite Blackjack according to its rules and particularities below. Using this chart will take the guess work out of things. It tells you when to hit, stand or double down and so on depending on your hand, and the dealer's upcard. That means there are good decisions and bad decisions, and blackjack is not purely about luck anymore.

Info iconAlthough basic strategy will help you to improve your odds, there is still a random element to blackjack. Which means that while basic strategy will help you play the best game that you can, there is ultimately no guarantee for a win.

If you have a soft hand, that is when one of your cards is an Ace, use the chart below. A soft hand changes things because the Ace card can be counted as a 1 or 11, giving you more flexibility.

Infinite Blackjack Tips and Tricks

Coin 1Make a decision. You have a limited amount of time to decide on what to do with your hand, as indicated by the timer. Make a decision because if you don't, the default is an automatic Hit for 11 or under, and Stand for above 11. You don't need to be an experienced blackjack player to understand that standing at 12 would be a waste.
coin-2Basic strategy is king. Like with any blackjack game, the best tip is to apply basic strategy in Infinite Blackjack. Print out the chart above and have it at hand when you're playing online. This tip is extra handy for Infinite Blackjack because you have a limited timeframe for decision making.
Coin 3Know your bankroll. As Infinite Blackjack is a live dealer game, it is 100% real money gambling. That means you need to have a good idea of how much money you really have and should plan your bankroll in advance.
Coin 4Practice with a RNG game. RNG, software-based games offer both demo play and real money gambling. And there are many RNG blackjack games that you can play at online casinos. Choose one for American Blackjack, the variant that Infinite Blackjack is based on, and use it to practice.

Infinite Blackjack FAQ

  1. How much time do I have to make a decision?
  2. How do I place a side bet?
  3. What is min and max bet in Infinite Blackjack?
  4. What if someone else decides to hit when I want to stand?
  5. Can I see other players in Infinite Blackjack?

1. How much time do I have to make a decision?

You have roughly 15 seconds to make a decision. This is a parameter that might vary between casinos but in any case a timer will appear on screen to show you how much time you have. It's green and sits just below the options to hit, stand, double down and so.

If you don't make a decision within the allotted time, the default action that will be applied to your hand is a Hit if you are 11 or less, and Stand if above 11.

2. How do I place a side bet?

Side bet options are displayed at the bottom of the game screen, on the left and right of the main bet. Select the one you are interested in, and put your chips in. Note that you may not place a side bet without placing a bet on the game itself.

3. What is min and max bet in Infinite Blackjack?

The minimum and maximum bet for Infinite Blackjack are set by the casino you are playing at. You will therefore see different numbers depending on which site you are at. But as an example, Stake Casino has the betting range at $1 for min bet, and $25,000 for the max bet.

4. What if someone else decides to hit when I want to stand?

Although you are playing at the same time with other players, you are all playing independently. Players start with the same two cards, but each player's decision is registered as their own.

For example, if another player decides to hit and goes bust with the third card, it does not affect you if you had chosen to stand – you would simply be watching the rest of the game play out.

5. Can I see other players in Infinite Blackjack?

No. You can't see other players in Infinite Blackjack. However, there is a live head count that is on the right side of the game screen so you know how many players are playing the game. There is also a live chat function where you can openly communicate. Additionally, at the end of each round, a list of all the winners will be displayed on the left side of the screen.
